Chapter 386 - 385: Three Pairs of Shoes, Over 100,000 Yuan
As long as these two people make up, every time they stay together, it’s like being subjected to PDA. Bea feels exhausted.
She hugs herself and feels sorry for two seconds.
After checking out, the shop assistant handed the gold card back to Bella Acker with both hands, smiling: "Miss, please take your card." Another shop assistant timely delivered the packed shoes.
"Thank you." Bella Acker took the shoes and politely thanked.
"You’re welcome." The shop assistant said, "You can bring the shoes back if they need cleaning or maintenance."
"Alright."
"Take care, both of you."
Bella Acker and Bea left the store, and when they were a bit further away, Bella Acker said, "This is really extravagant, three pairs of shoes cost over a hundred thousand."
"With the card your husband gave you, there’s nothing to worry about." Bea said, "Let’s go, now to buy a phone."
"Wait." Bella Acker, carrying the three pairs of shoes, pointed to a men’s clothing store across the street, "Bella, do you think that beige sweater is suitable for Damian?"
"The style looks nice, let’s check it out." Bea nodded, and they both entered the men’s section.
"Welcome, may I ask what type of clothing you are looking for?" A shop assistant approached inquiringly.
Bella Acker said, "Could you please take out that sweater for me to look at? Thank you."
"Alright, please wait a moment."
The shop assistant went to retrieve the clothing. Bella Acker felt the sweater was very comfortable, not prickly at all, even wearing it alone shouldn’t cause itchiness.
"Hmm, I want this sweater. Could you help me get one in XXL size? He’s almost six feet three, would a large size look too big?"
"Not at all, this sweater is one of our best-selling new models of the year. Its entire design is slim-fitting." The shop assistant said, "Would you like me to pack it up now?"
"Yes, thank you." Bella Acker thanked, following the assistant to check out.
After buying the sweater, Bella Acker and Bea then went to buy a phone.
While buying the phone, Bella Acker used her own card.
The two then wandered to other places, Bella Acker didn’t buy anything else, but Bea bought a small GUCCI bag.
When they finished shopping, it was already noon, and they went to eat Japanese food together.
Bea said, "What are your plans for the afternoon?"
Bella Acker shook her head, "No special plans, just waiting for Damian to get off work to try on dresses. What about you?"
"I’m meeting friends to see an art exhibition; since you’re free, you could come with me." Bea said, "They’re all about the same age and easy to get along with."
"Maybe not." Bella Acker hesitated, "You’re meeting friends for an art exhibition, adding me would be awkward. The main thing is I really don’t know how to appreciate those oil paintings; I’ll skip it. I might just take a stroll instead."
"Anything’s fine." Bea nodded, "Should I go now? Are you okay with carrying all these things and going to my brother’s company? Or should I drive you there?"
"No need, it’s not heavy, you go ahead." Bella Acker said, "Thank you for spending so much time shopping with me."
"Wasn’t it worth it for me too?" Bea waved the CUCCI bag she held, "I’ll head off now, call me if anything comes up, bye."
"Bye." Bella Acker waved.
The two parted ways; it wasn’t even one o’clock yet. Damian wouldn’t finish work until at least five, how would she spend the remaining four hours?
Bella Acker took the three bags, looked around, and went to the nearby café to pass the time.
It was lunchtime, the café was rather empty and very quiet.
Bella Acker carried the bags inside, and before she found a satisfying seat, she heard someone calling her.
