Damian Sinclair looked puzzled, wondering why she was laughing and turned his head to glance at her.

Bella Acker then explained, "Aunt Sienna always loves watching those high society dramas. But as you know, those TV shows have such dramatic plots to attract viewers. Especially the women who marry into wealthy families, almost every single one faces a lot of grievances and exclusion. Aunt Sienna is worried that I’ll suffer in the future, that’s why she doesn’t quite agree with us being together."

Damian Sinclair was also a bit speechless and after a while, he said, "Our family is easy to get along with. Even our cousins have really good relationships, so there won’t be those complicated issues."

Bella Acker didn’t have contact with other members of The Sinclair Family, but from her interactions with Damian and Bella, she thought the family must be quite decent.

Damian, though not very expressive or talkative, was steady and reliable. Bella might seem a bit arrogant, but she was reasonable and easy to get along with.

Since they were so good, The Sinclair Family must also be good. Otherwise, how could they raise such wonderful people?

Bella Acker nodded and asked, "You only mentioned your male cousins, apart from Bella aren’t there any other girls in your family?"

"No," Damian Sinclair seemed to sigh, "In our generation, there’s only Bella, who is also the youngest. So she’s been spoiled since she was a child, completely being the little tyrant of the family. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have developed such a bold personality."

"You don’t need to envy her," Damian Sinclair said lightly, "You have your own unique qualities."

"What are they?" Bella Acker really wanted to know what made her unique in Damian’s eyes, so she turned her head to ask.

"You have me," Damian Sinclair raised an eyebrow and countered, "Isn’t that unique enough?"

Bella Acker’s face turned red all of a sudden, she rolled her eyes at him, turning her head away and murmured, "You’re so full of yourself."

Why hadn’t she noticed Damian’s narcissism before?

He was actually praising himself, and so matter-of-factly, without even blushing a bit.

Having his affection was indeed something unique.

Bella Acker felt sweetness in her heart, the corners of her mouth lifted revealing a happy smile, finally dispelling the last bit of sadness from their goodbye.

Damian Sinclair glanced at her, one hand on the steering wheel, the other reached over and held her hand steadily in his palm.

Bella Acker gave a slight struggle, then let him hold her hand, not trying to pull away anymore.

Damian Sinclair focused on driving; though his face remained expressionless, the look on his face was much gentler.

Bella Acker felt the warmth from his palm, her heartbeat raced uncontrollably.
